On May 21, 2022, the Polish Doctors Ball took place at the Roehampton Club in London. The ball, postponed twice due to the coronavirus epidemic, turned out to be an extraordinary success. In the over 75-year history of the Association of Polish Doctors, balls have been held regularly and have always been a unique event in the social calendar of the British Polish community.

The ball was a charity event, through Medical Aid for Poland we raised over £2,500 to help refugees from Ukraine. We would like to thank all the patrons and sponsors of our ball who donated funds or gifts.

We would also like to thank the Embassy of the Republic of Poland for supporting our initiative as part of the Polish Heritage Days. At the Ball, we were visited by the Polonia TV crew, who filmed a short reportage of the event. Their material can be viewed here.

Please see the brochure we have prepared for the Ball, which contains photos of the auction items.

A short film was shown at the Ball, presenting a very abbreviated history of PMA and MAFP. You can also see some ‘goodies’ that could be purchased at the auction.
